Avon Valley Adventure Park is a farm park with experiences, adventure play and major seasonal events including Fear Scream Park. They employ 15 permanent staff members but constantly recruit and add people for various events throughout the year, flexing up for each occasion. This involves recruiting for the next event while the current one is still running.
The Challenge
Recruiting 200+ seasonal staff and trying to manage it all on forms and spreadsheets had become too time-consuming.
No professional recruitment landing page with key information for prospective employees.
Difficult to stop under 18s applying, even though it was stated on the form.
Difficult to ensure training was complete with no official procedures in place.

Previously, the manual processes involved constantly chasing actors who applied for roles but didn’t show up for auditions once invited. This was creating a heavy workload for the team. It was clear that some automation was needed.
