Introducing Shift Deployments

Chances are you spend a lot of time in spreadsheets, moving people around the building, and working out who goes where throughout during the day. Well, deployments can take care of all of that for you by assigning positions within a venue and filling them with the staff scheduled to be on shift that day. 

It also takes into account break times and other duties, ensuring complete organisation of your team.

Deployment planning software for museum and theatre staff

The idea for this feature originated from the need to move staff around a museum during a shift. They wanted to plan who would do what tours and where they would be after the tour was finished. Shift deployments do this with ease.

It also works for any venue with multiple areas that need staffing. Take theaters, for example. A staff member might be positioned at the venue entrance for doors opening but can be moved to the circle for the interval and to the cloakroom after that. It’s that simple. Need someone on ice or merchandise? No problem; we’ll select someone for those positions too.

Clear communication with staff

Once a day is planned, you can easily view deployments online or print them out by ‘staff’ or by ‘position’, making deployments crystal clear for everyone. 

You can also show deployments directly on each shift within the staff app so everyone knows where they are meant to be at every point that day.

Common shift patterns can be easily replicated using templates, meaning you can be ready for any type of event at a moment's notice.

Have someone who can’t work in a certain position? You can block them so they’re never placed somewhere they’re not able to work. That’s one less thing to worry about!
