2021 brings new updates to the Staff Savvy platform, this massive update adds powerful new features and carefully expands the existing tools to make them easier and quicker to use. These new features are going to make your office life more streamlined, change the way you work, free up your time and make those daily admin tasks less of a stress.

The new features include the first tools of our performance and welfare feature along with the new Expenses Edd-on, improvements to absence management, new page search and dozens of improvements throughout the StaffSavvy system.

Here are 7 of our headline new features that we are bringing to your platform.

- New Performance and Welfare Forms

This exciting new feature allows for multi-step forms to be completed by multiple parties such as HR, line managers and staff. These forms are perfect for reviews, one-two-ones, change requests or even investigations. This forms the cornerstone of our new performance and welfare feature and will be expanded with Goals, 365 Reviews and review scheduling tools in the next year.

- New Awards Feature

Staff appreciate being recognised for their hard work. Our new awards feature allows staff members to nominate colleagues for awards. Nominations can be approved by managers and the awards display on an awards stream. Awards can be designed by you, or you have use of our pre-set images.

- New Expenses Add-On

Making your mileage claims and request for reimbursement, or expenses incurred easier.  For expenses, this includes the ability for staff to report reasons and upload copies of receipts for your approval. For mileage claims, they provide start and destination information along with the total miles. The value of the claim is automatically calculated from the per-mile value provided. This is a small add-on feature and will be expanded over the next few releases.
It will incur an additional cost of 10% of your core account cost and an estimate of this is available under the Features tab of Global settings. This feature will be free to use and trial until July 2021.

- Lone Working Feature

Our new Lone Worker notifications will now notify staff when they are working alone within the organisation and when they are no longer lone working. You can configure this feature on a new venue group.

- Quick Search

Need something quickly? Our new quick search function will help you find the page or information you are looking for quicker and more easily. You can find this tool displayed in the menu on all pages across the StaffSavvy website, and it will give quick access to all the pages within the menu, staff profiles and assigning options for Roles and Venues.

- New Yearly Absence/Holiday planner

This fantastic new report allows you to view every type of absence plus TOIL requests/claims across a complete year for a single staff member. Absences are colour and pattern coded along with displaying requested and approved absences/holiday. You are able to access this view under each staff member’s profile using the Absence and Holiday action menu.

- New absence monthly calendar

In a similar style to the existing holiday calendar, you’ll be able to access the new absence monthly calendar. Displayed will be all types of absences using colours and patterns, this new feature is designed to show a whole team or direct reports to a staff member and this can be customised by them. To find this report it will be available under reports > Staff Reports or via the new menu search.
