Staff Savvy Release blog.jpg

The latest updates are here!

Not only have we done one new release of features so far this year, we are excited to release our latest features and updates.

This month’s release focus on expanding the available features for some of our newer tools. One of our major new features is our new Goals tool! Target setting, tracking and review for staff members has never been easier.

So, we thought it’s time to take you through the new features, and the changes you will see in the updated system very soon.

1. Goals – Help your staff achieve their best yet!

As we said previously, this new feature allows goals to be set by staff or their manager within their account. They can even be linked to StaffSavvy features such as training certificates, or bespoke goals covering anything at all. If you’re using a StaffSavvy element such as certificates, the system will automatically update and be marked as complete when a certificate has been awarded in the system. Nothing better than an easy, seamless and automatic process.

Goal tracking can also allow updates to be posted and a percentage complete status attached for viewing. Setting goals helps trigger new behaviours, helps guides staff focus and helps staff sustain that momentum to achieve more.

2. Xero Integration

The best thing about Xero is that it makes doing business easier than ever. But is there a way we could make it even easier for you? It’s a programme we all have heard of and now it’s here in StaffSavvy. Upload this payroll and timesheet integration directly into the Xero platform. This integration will automatically match up StaffSavvy accounts with Xero employee accounts using their email addresses and links. It’s never sounded simpler, has it? Don’t worry our support team will help getting you setup.

We currently support Australia, New Zealand and UK Payroll connections for Xero.

3. Additional holiday/vacation time based on length of service

Have you got a rule in place where your staff can gain addition days or hours of holiday/vacation entitlement based on the length of service? You can now add Length of Service Entitlement groups to your platform.

Set the different entitlements to each group, allowing you to have different benefits for different staff contracts. But not only is it that easy, you can simply choose a Length of Service entitlement group for each staff member and your StaffSavvy platform will automatically add the eligible additional days or hours. No manual input, everything is done for you!

4. View the shift week for venues in a week view.

Previously the shift week view would allow you to view multiple venues, but they would always appear “split” meaning staff appeared across the page if they were in multiple venue. So, we’ve made it simpler. Our newest update allows you to change between venues, or even seeing them altogether.

When you view them altogether there will be a single list of staff, their shifts will be colour coded based on the venue that shift is based at. Need to change venue or move staff around your organisation? Don’t worry, it’s all covered.

5. Custom Report Access

With the latest update you can now grant access to custom reports based on access levels, your reports can be displayed to supervisors or managers. Not only that, but you can also now select to choose the Custom Reports directly in the menu which now allows colleagues to quickly find the commonly used reports. These will also display within the search tool. Again, saving yourself time!

It’s out with the old and in with the new way of working. A management system such as StaffSavvy isn’t just another site to use, it’s the whole deal. Your platform is the driving force for so many elements in your business and it can handle most things.

Now, we have only shared a snippet into the new features here on StaffSavvy. If you’d like to find out more or book a demo so you can see how we believe it can be a fit for you click the link below.
